Chuckles coming to the GI Joe Classified Series in a name only reveal plus Dr. Mindbender & Serpentor figures are going up for preorder again
Today, Hasbro hosted their Pulse Premium member live stream so let’s check out what figures are coming to the GI Joe Classified Series line! The presentation was very short today and we got some great news for folks who missed out on Dr. Mindbender and Serpentor so those figures will be going up for preorder again! We also got another name only reveal and it is none other than Chuckles!
Chuckles
One look at Chuckles and you wouldn’t have given a thought he was an undercover agent. Most undercover specialists try not to stand out too much, their interaction with the enemy is often limited, most of their efforts are concentrated on the source for information, and they don’t wear loud Hawaiian shirts. With his burly figure, Chuckles already stands out from the crowd. He has a gregarious personality that makes him the life of the party, quick-witted and possesses a natural likability. He is very conscientious of his work that he’ll volunteer for dangerous missions just to keep up his cover.
He has shifted from one undercover assignment to another for so many times, no one is sure who he works for anymore. He started as an investigator at the South-eastern Insurance Group in Fort Lauderdale. He still feels a debt of allegiance there. He eventually made his way to the US Army’s Criminal Investigations Division.

A new batch of Dr. Mindbender and Serpentor GI Joe Classified Series figures will be available for preorder!
New official photos were posted to the Hasbro Pulse Instagram Page! We get to see official images of the front and back of his package. Amazing artwork featuring the mad scientist creation of Serpentor! In an incredible diorama display of Dr. Mindbender’s lab, we get to see him in all his mad scientist glory! His sculpt and details look stunning!

Serpentor & Air Chariot
Back on April 15, 2022, we speculated that a deluxe Serpentor could be in the works given Dr. Mindbender’s royal deluxe GI Joe Classified Series treatment on Episode 66 of our Youtube channel, entitled Gi Joe Classified Series Speculation | Could a Deluxe Serpentor Follow the Dr. Mindbender Reveal?
As we know from the GI Joe mini-series Arise, Serpentor Arise, Serpentor was created by Cobra scientist Dr. Mindbender as part of a conspiracy within Cobra to create the perfect soldier but, in actuality, Mindbender and Destro were plotting to create a leader to supplant Cobra Commander. Raiding several tombs that contain history’s greatest warriors and their DNA, this would serve as the genetic blueprint for this super soldier. Possessing the acute military genius, courage, daring, charisma, political know how and fighting prowess of these historic leaders, what could go wrong???
Back on 7/27/22 get got official images thru Emily of the Hasbro GI Joe Team’s Instagram Page of Serpentor and his Air Chariot which is said to be an upcoming Pulse Con exclusive! Since we know that the GI Joe Panel is supposed to be on October 1st, we are expecting Serpentor to go up for preorder on October 1st with an expected release date by the end of the year. We have yet to see if that’s the case, but that is the expected release date. In any case, that is very exciting news! We first got to see Serpentor revealed at this year’s San Diego Comic Con.

Figure and Air Chariot
The Serpentor figure and Air Chariot look impressive! Rather than coming with a soft goods cape, it appears that he comes with a plastic green version that has snake skin texturing on it. In fact, there is snake skin texting all over him and is very subtle and well executed as to not to overwhelm the figure or the Air Chariot

You also get to see the inside of the Air Chariot with the handle bars and flight controls. The riveting details are a nice touch as it ads a meal look to the gold vehicle!

The other box art for Serpentor features him and his throne sitting on the lap of the Lincoln memorial, which is so apropos! It also features an amazing scene of Cobra aircraft feeling the Cobra stronghold in victory! A funny scene has him punching the lights out of Cobra Commander, which is hilarious and very well illustrated!
