TMNT Mutant Mayhem Playmates showing up in stores

Playmates is roaring back with new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toyline and they are super cool, cowabunga! These new figures, vehicles and playsets are from the new animated movie TMNT Mutant Mayhem! We covered the reveal of these figures in our New TMNT Mutant Mayhem Playmates Figures and Playsets article . They are finally starting to hit store shelves, and there is a huge variety of figures and multi-pack sets! So let’s dive in and see photos of these new TMNT Mutant Mayhem Playmates showing up in stores! This new line of playmates TMNT Mutant Mayhem will feature 5″ Ninja turtle figures, 5.5 ” electronic turtles and then more deluxe 12″ figures. The 5.5″ figures are known as “Ninja Shouts” turtles and will have electronics where they say cool TMNT phrases by pulling their arm and such to activate the action feature! They will cost about $15. The 12″ figures will run about $25. Of course, our favorite foursome Leo, Raph, Mikey and Don take center stage! There are all sorts of assorted multipacks as well! Playmates is going all in on these new figures!
They are starting to show up in Target and Kohl’s stores, so we will be on the lookout for the online listings. In the meantime, these Michael Hopper was nice enough to post the bar codes for a few of these. Below you can see the “Ooze Crusin’ Figures” Multiplack packged in a cardboard party wagon. It comes with the 4 turtle brothers, April O’ Neil, and Bebop covered in ooze!
Another new set is the Making of A Ninja pack that comes with 3 exclusive glow in the dark figures! A baby turtle, kid turtle and the full grown Turtle of both Raph and Leo!
New figurs such as Bebop and Rocksteady were showing up as well!
Basic Figures
Here we have the package reveal for our 4 main sewer heroes in a half shell in their Basic Figure release of the 5″ scale size. These packages include the classic TMNT brick design in a purple motif and the new TMNT Mutant Mayhem logo on the front, along with a cool illustration of each turtle. On the rear there is a cross sell of the basic figures which includes Leo, Mike, Raph, Donnie, Splinter, Bebop, Rocksteady, Superfly and Leatherhead. We also get a mini bio for each turtle on the back of the card back.
Ninja Shouts
Next we have the package reveal for our 4 main sewer heroes in a half shell in their Ninja Shouts 5.5″ electronic sounds by performing an action feature for each turtle! These packages include the classic TMNT brick design in a purple motif and the new TMNT Mutant Mayhem logo on the front, along with a cool thumbnail of each turtle performing their spoken phrases. They look super cute and have a very animated style to them. They will cost about $15.
Giant Turtles
Finally we get a look at 2 of the brothers in their 12″ Giant Turtle size. So far they are including Leonardo and Raphel. They will cost about $25 each which is what the classic Giant Turtle went for as well. You can see that both Leo and Ralph have 2 sets of accessories, Leo with his Twin Katana blades and Ralph with his Twin Sais!
Vehicles
Let’s take a look at the cool Vehicles that this new line has to offer! There is a Pizza Party Wagon and two really cool motorcycles that include turtle figures with them!
Battle Cycle
The Battle Cycle comes with a Raph action figure and you can sit another turtle in the side car. This will run about $25. The design is reminiscent of the vintage playmates vehicles, with a trash can as a side car! This package include the classic TMNT brick design in a purple motif and the new TMNT Mutant Mayhem logo on the front, along with an illustration of the 4 turtles and some thumbnails of the Battle Cycle in action. The rear of the package shows the Battle Cycle in action with Raph driving and Mikey taking a ride with Ralp on the side car!
Kick Cycle
The Kick Cycle will include a Leonardo figure and includes a cool action feature, where you press on the pizza on the back and Leo kicks off either side of the cycle and can kick some Foot Clan Booty! This package include the classic TMNT brick design in a purple motif and the new TMNT Mutant Mayhem logo on the front, along with an illustration of the 4 turtles and some thumbnails of the Kick Cycle in action. The rear of the package shows the Kick Cycle in action with Leo kicking what looks like a tease of Mondo Geeko and Bebop!
Pizzafire Delivery Van
There were several figures on display, and the star of the show and most definitely will be the most sought after is of course the Party Wagon! The Turtle brothers get a brand new ride with this awsome Pizza throwing amazing Party Wagon! It has a giant pizza slice on the roof and when you press it, the side pops open and reveals the pizza thrower! It shouts out 8 pizzas with electronics! It seats all 4 turtles and some friends! The graphics on the side look incredible and I can’t wait to get this one in hand! The Party Wagon will run about $40. This package include the classic TMNT brick design in a purple motif and the new TMNT Mutant Mayhem logo on the front, along with an illustration of the Pizza Party Van in action flinging pizzas!. The rear of the package shows the actual Party Wagon in action with side opening pizza thrower, the giant pizza slice on the roof an taking out poor Bebop again!
