Classic Scratch & Hot Spot TMNT Playmates Rumored

An anonymous source, Playmates is going to be releasing Classic reissues of both Scratch & Hot Spot figures, both of which are holy grails of the Playmates TMNT line! This is incredible news for those of us who can’t afford this ultra pricey figures! Vintage complete examples of Scratch and Hot Spot are both very hard to come by and command a hefty price on the aftermarket!
Vintage Scratch
According to Scratch | TMNTPedia | Fandom:
“Scratch is a mutant cat in a traditional convict’s uniform. He is loosely based on Hallocat. The character is best known for having one of the most sought-after action figures in the franchise’s history.”
Scratch has been made in the Super7 Ultimates line in the 6″ scale, but it’s not the same as having a vintage reissue of the original which started it all!
Here we can see Scratch on his original card back released back in 1993! Who knew back the that this would become one of the most sought after figures of the TMNT line! You can still track the original vintage figure down on eBay HERE
Vintage Hot Spot
Acoording to Hot Spot (character) | TMNTPedia | Fandom: ” Hot Spot is a mutant dalmatian firefighter. As an ally of the Ninja Turtles, he is ready to clash with the Foot Clan any time he’s not extinguishing deadly blazes. As with most mutants with jobs, Hot Spot uses his work equipment to assist his buddies against the forces of evil.”
