Cobra Hiss Tanks are about to roll into collector’s hands, but before your receive yours, let’s take a look at what you are in for! Emily and Lenny walked us thru a very detailed Cobra Hiss Tank GI Joe Classified Series HasLab Unboxing! This incredible HasLab vehicle inspired by the vintage but modernized with working lights, and incredible detail comes with H.I.S.S. 🐍 COBRAAAA! 🐍 It’s nearly time for the battalions of G.I. Joe Classified Series H.I.S.S. tanks to roll out across the globe and unleash Cobra Commander’s wrath against the Joes! Before you take command of your very own H.I.S.S., however, we felt it was important for you to see what you’re in for. Check out Emily and Lenny as they dive in and unbox one of the very first Classified Series H.I.S.S. off the line.

In this exciting video, they unveil the all-new G.I. Joe Classified Series Cobra H.I.S.S., complete with its impressive array of accessories, and showcase the incredible figures that come with it. We’re talking about the H.I.S.S. Tactician figure, inspired by Ron Rudat’s iconic designs, the stunning 6-Inch Scale Retro Cardback Cobra Commander figure, and all of the others.

But that’s not all! We’ve got some fantastic news for all you eager fans and backers – the G.I. Joe Classified Series Cobra H.I.S.S. units will be hitting the shipping lanes soon and are expected to arrive later this year. The anticipation is building, and the excitement is off the charts!

The new Cobra Hiss Tank HasLab will come shipped with an outter shipper box that says Cobra Hiss HasLab on it so you know what’s inside. And once you open that box you will see a stunningly beautiful box clad in incredible artwork that pays tribute to the incredible legacy of the Cobra Hiss Tank and all the amazing figures packed within! It is a wrap around piece of art that features Baroness, Destro and Cobra Commander in the background, and the Cobra Tactian, Hiss Tank Driver and … on the art with variously images of the tank as well.


The top of the box features this incredible double headed red cobra logo that says ” Semper Fidelis, Cobra Serpens” The red is in in a shinny finish that is very striking against the matte black background. The black background features greyline silhouettes of the Hiss Tank and a Cobra logo.


You can see the incredible redline blueprints on the bottom of the box with the Cobra 788 and Mars Industries on the box as well.


Once you get the package opened, everything is nicely protected inside an inner cardboard boxes. The thinner box is the figure box and the larger box is the Hiss Tank!


The Inner Contents

Once you get the large box open you will find the various contents for the Hiss Tank like the various different style canopies, the side panels to the tank, tread covers and the like. Once you get past top cardboard protected piece, you uncover the treasure within! The incredibly gorgeous Hiss Tank in all it’s glory!


In the second box, it contains the a total of 4 figures, 3 figures that come in individually packaged and numbered boxes, plus the special Retro Classified Mickey Mouse Cobra Commander figure! You get the Cobra Tactician, Cobra Hiss Tank Driver, and Cobra Gunner!


Hiss Tank

Let’s take a look at the Hiss Tank that comes in this amazing HasLab project.


You can see inside the amazing cockpit with articulating thruster gear shifts, a joystick control that moves and a really cool working seat belt! The ladders on the side also articulate and fold down on the side.


The tank really rolls wonderfully and makes that cool tank tread rolling sound as it moves! The tank also comes with really cool tread covers. There is also a port that opens on the side of the tank where you attach the ground to air missiles.


The tank has some amazing logos and decals on it with all sorts of tactical logos and hidden Easter eggs! There is also some nice mold etching on the exterior of the tank. The twin cannons attached on the top of the turret and look incredible! They are separately articulating as well. When you move them, they have a versy satisfying ratcheting sound!


The chin cannons attach to the front and there is a light button near the bottom of the tank.


Lenny did mention that there is a hitch for a future hint hint SMS!


When you open the back, there is a jump seat that slides up and down. There are tabs to remove the jump seat in the back. There are weapons storage tabs on the other side of the rear compartment as well where you can attach and stow your weapons!


You also get a decal sheet that comes included in the figure box so that you can customize your tank anyway you like.



You get a total of 4 figures, 3 figures that come in individually packaged and numbered boxes, plus the special Retro Classified Mickey Mouse Cobra Commander figure! You get the Cobra Tactician, Cobra Hiss Tank Driver, and Cobra Gunner! The first figure to come included in the box is the Cobra Tactician which is #100 and design by the great Ron Rudat himself! #99 is Cobra Driver and # 101 is the Cobra Gunner.



The Cobra Tactician is signed by Ron Ruddat and also the packages include really cool redline blueprints on the back of the package for each figure.


Cobra Commander comes packaged on a stunning Retro Card back that is made a very nice thick quality cardboard. There is a white classic boarded around the edges and of course it comes unpunched for you MOC collectors out there! There is a classic English language only file card for Coco as well!


Also included is an instruction sheet as well.

Diorama shots

Several months back, Emily posted amazing diorama shots of the painted HISS Tank that was at SDCC to her Instagram Page. They took incredible images of the HISS tank in an outdoor scene with the Driver, Cobra Officers and Cobra Troopers working on the Tank, servicing it, coming out of the back from an assault attack and some close up detailed shots as well.
