Glenda & Cobra Mortal Super7 GI Joe ReAction JoeFest2024 Debut

JoeFest 2024 is just around the corner and to celebrate, Super7 will be debuting their latest two new GI Joe ReAction figures, Glenda and Cobra Mortal! These figures are inspired by their vintage Argen7 Argentinian exclusives, just like me, LOL! Being a native Argentinian, these two figures really strike a cord with me, as Argentina has a very rich toy history! These are two I will definitely be picking up, when they are available. Yo, Joe! Debuting this weekend at JoeFest 2024 are the 3.75” ReAction Figures of Glenda and Cobra Mortal! Both figures are inspired by the vintage G.I. Joe figures from Argentina! In addition, Vintage Joe Catalog Puzzle and G.I. Joe Tee is inspired by the vintage, Japanese market G.I. Joe! We hope to see you at JoeFest 2024 in Augusta, Georgia this weekend! The other two items they will have for JoeFest 2024 will be a Vintage Joe Catalog Puzzle and G.I. Joe Tee is inspired by the vintage Japanese market!

Glenda Vintage

As we said earlier, Glenda was an exclusive figure that was available carded in Argentina by the Plastirama toy company. In the comic lore, Glenda led Hardball and Rampart in a mission to capture Asa Negra and Big Boa, only to find both Cobra members and their troops dead. Glenda noticed how unlikely it was to be the work of local warlords or the CIA, and whoever did it was sending a message. Those who did it revealed themselves, confirmed Glenda’s suspicions, and killed the three Joes to complete the message

Cobra Mortal Vintage

The Cobra Mortal was one of the original vintage Plastirama Argen7 figures from Argentina. This is a deep cut if I ever saw one! The Argen7 was a way to group the 7 straight-arm characters from Argentina series 1 and series 2 figures that were completely different from those available in the US. These figures were available both in Argentina (made by Plastirama) and later, in Venezuela (made by Rubiplas).

A huge thanks to The Full Force on Facebook and 80’s Toy Boy on Twitter for find these new Super7 GI Joe Reaction Wave 8 Listings Found on Target! There are some major deep cuts in this latest wave from character’s from the Palitoy action force line, to army builder favorites of the ARAH vintage GI Joe line! Let’s take a deep dive into what they found and what new characters we have in store!
