King Randor New Eternia Masterverse In Hand Review

New Eternia King Randor was part of the massive October 2024 drop of MOTU figures which went up for preorder a couple months ago, and we now have the Burger King, oh I mean King Randor for an in hand for your viewing pleasure! As for his New Eternia backstory, King Randor leads his royal forces across New Eternia searching for the lost Power of Grayskull and spreading good across the planet, earning him the nickname “The King Abroad.” So let’s have it your way and check out this King Randor New Eternia Masterverse in hand review by our very own Toy Sorceress!
Packaging
The front of the packaging features the beautifuk window display with King Randor within. The artwork wraps all around the box and features King Randor fighting off demons with his sword. The Masterverse New Eternia King Randor box back show him standing on a mountain cliff with Zoar flying overhead. His bio reads, “King Randor leads his royal forces across New Eternia searching for the lost Power of Grayskull and spreading good across the planet, earning him the nickname “The King Abroad.” The back of the box also shows off King Randor’s weapon as he can fuse his staff and sword together.
Additional views of the package from the right and left so you can see how the beautiful artwork wraps the box.
The right side of the packaging shows a wrecked space ship and commander Marlena in her space suit in the background! On the left side of the box, we can see King Randor’s bald melon as he thrusts his sword for all to see!
Figure details
King Randor was executed beautifully and really captures his classic look. He comes packed with two different head pieces to give him different looks. One is his classic blue jeweled crown and the other is a blue jeweled helmet. Plus you get both a scepter and a sword.
The scepter and sword can combine into a spear. The royal cape is removable, as is his chest armor, leg armor and hinged shoulder/arm armor piece.
Overall views of King Randor from the front and back. You can see that his cape has a beautiful gold rope detail.

King Randor comes with 1 head but 3 looks crowned with hair, bald or helmeted. Blue “jeweled” details carry from crown to helmet, sword, scepter and armor.

And here we can see his bald melon below. Is it just me or does he look like John Travolta? (Old Travolta) LOL.
Close ups of his arms. His right arm has his classic good wrist bracer. His left arm and shoulder have a beautifully large shoulder pauldron with a blue jewel in the center.
Close ups of his chest and back are below. His chest armor has a stunning design in gold and burgandy. The classic gold cross adorns his chest armor and it is removeable. The back of his armor has some very beautiful details as well.
Close ups on his waist and legs. He is wearing a gold belt with blue jewels, a red chain link shirt and his signature orange pants. His boots are brown with very detailed gold shin guards with red straps in the back.

King Randor does not look like his Masters of the Universe Revelation or Revolution appearance so we are assuming this will be a New Eternia figure. He is clad in his red, blues, and golds and comes with a scepter and a sword. He also comes with a large, oversized piece of shoulder armor and an alternate crown/hair combo so you can turn him into the Burger King himself!
