MOTU Origins Wave 13 Assortment Update & Release Dates

Check out the leaked release dates and assortment for the of Masters of the Universe Origins Wave 13 line up of single carded and deluxe figures.
First we got leaks from Origins and Masterverse to start the year off, and now this! We also revealed that the MOTU Origins Wave 14 assortment and thanks to our special thanks to our special “Mega” trusted Toy Habits source for leaking this information about the Wave 13 Masters of the Universe Origins release dates and figure assortments we can expect to come. This list is inclusive of single carded figures and deluxe figures, and, in this list, it specs out the figures that will be a part of each wave plus the dates that we can anticipate the figures. PLUS…there is an additional SURPRISE figure slotted to accompany Wave 13, making this another 5 figure single carded wave, like Wave 12 with the addition of Duplio. We have also discovered where to locate some of the figures on this list from online retailers like Amazon and Walmart so please check them out below. Also, be forewarned:

MOTU Origins Wave 13
We just saw official images released for the MOTU Origins Wave 13 Assortment and now we can see the release dates for these figures, which are slotted to be released July 1, 2023. One tidbit that we didn’t know about is where Mini Comic Man-E-Faces fits into this wave, and he will be part of this wave so be on the lookout for official images. We have a leaked prototype of Mini Comic Man-E-Faces thanks to Charlie_5.5, which you can see below. We also located the Snake Trooper listing on Walmart a couple days ago.
Mini Comic Man-E-Faces
Mini Comic Man-E-Faces is the 5th character to join Wave 13, just like Duplico joined Wave 12. Charlie_5.5 has acquired what appears to be a prototype of a future MOTU Origins Mini Comic Man-E-Faces and posted the photos on his IG page (shown in blue and white)! We also came across a listing in Amazon’s database that confirms that confirms mini comic Man-E-Faces is coming to Origins. The MOTU Origins line is producing certain figures in mini comic form so it is not out of the question that they would do something similar for Man-E-Faces. Here is what he had to say:
Interesting find, this First/Test shot figure of Origins Man-E-Faces has different faces from the released version. The sculpts are more detailed and have the faces MEF had early in The Ordeal of Man-E-Faces mini comic, pre Robot face/form. It’s possible this was a discarded idea, or this could be a future release, I hope it’s the latter 🤞🤞

An Amazon listing for a Mini Comic Man-E-Faces has surfaced, confirming that Mini Comic Man-E-Faces is coming to the MOTU Origins line!
Deluxe Figures
Snake Face and Dragon Blaster Skeletor have been leaked and rumored to be coming to the line. Their release dates are slotted for July 1, 2023, coinciding with the release date of MOTU Origins Wave 13. We don’t have official images of Snake Face or Dragon Blaster Skeletor so we are using their vintage or MOTU Classics counterparts as a stand in.
Dragon Blaster Skeletor
Dragon Blaster Skeletor makes sense to be a deluxe figure for the next Wave 12, as only the single release figures have been revealed, but only time will tell. The vintage Dragon Blaster Skeletor action figure was released back in 1985 as a part of wave 4. Leader of the Evil Warriors, Skelly included his dreadful dragon with the paralyzing spray perched on his shoulder!
Dragon Blaster Skeletor was also released for the MOTU Classics Line in 2012, and was an incredibly cool and popular figure in the line! You can see how a highly articulated version of this character would look.

Snake Face
We already covered the teases for Snake Face in More Snake Men coming to Origins in 2023! – (toyhabits.com) and MOTU Origins Wave 11 Rise of the Snake Men Card Art Teases (toyhabits.com) Unveiled during the CANAL DOS ROSMINEIROS live stream last year, they revealed the first of the Snake Men coming to Origins in 2023 and they were totally right! They had also revealed the additional Snake Men – King Hiss, Snake Face and Sssqueeze were also coming to Origins later in 2023! Please note, that this new wave of Snake Men have not yet been confirmed by Mattel nor any official images released, but our friends at @canaldosrosmineiros were right about the first wave of Snake Men, She-Ra and Beast Man Masterverse teases, so there is a really good chance we get these Snake Men figures!

Snake Face was also a very unique character and all new sculpt for the vintage line. Released in 1987, this most gruesome of the Snake Men Warriors featured an eye & mouth popping snakes feature which would turn his enemies to stone! Activated by the action lever on his back, the snakes would pop out of his mouth, eyes and shoulders! Due to this action feature, Snake Face did not have the waist twist feature, nor neck articulation. His arms even had snakes wrapping around them. His body was a completely new sculpt with intricate details on his chest and arms. He also sported the Snake Men logo on his chest. Snake Face came packaged with the usual snake staff in green, and a snake themed shield as well.
Unknown MOTU Origins Deluxe Figures
In addition to named figures, Deep Discount also has several placeholder listings that go by the name of Masters of the Universe Origins Figure [insert number], which is very intriguing. Although we have not idea what these figures could be, here are the images and we are provided the other named rumored figures from previous leaks as speculation as to filling in the gaps for the unknown figures. There are 2 Deluxe figures and there are 3 single carded figures!

MOTU Origins Wave 12
Wave 12 has been showing up in pockets online such as Amazon, Walmart, and Mattel Creations (as of February 14, 2023). The official release date for this wave is March 1, 2023, and we will most likely see the figures go up for preorder on sites like Entertainment Earth and Big Bad Toy Store soon.
