New Eternia Roboto Masterverse In Hand Review

Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto, because we have the incredible New Eternia Roboto Masterverse here for an in hand review! This vintage inspired Masterverse New Eternia Robot figure is the Roboto you have always wanted in a 7″ highly detailed action figure! He comes with very cool articulated arm attachments and working gears in his chest! So Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto, let’s dive into this New Eternia Roboto Masterverse in hand review!

Packaging

The front of New Eternia Roboto’s packaging features Roboto with his spinning mace attachment and cool rock warriors and Skeletor watching from above! The Masterverse New Eternia Roboto box back show him in a computer room posed with his giant claw! His bio reads, “Skeletor stole away with Man-At-Arms’ latest creation, Roboto. Using his diabolical havoc magic, Skeletor reprograms the artificial intelligence to do his evil bidding.” The back of the box also shows off Roboto’s action feature where you can turn the dial on his back and make his gears move!

Full views of the stunning artwork that wraps around the package front. The side of the package reveals Skeletor lurking on one side, and two portraits of Roboto on the other!

Figure details

As part of the next Masterverse Wave with New Eternia Evil-Lyn in 2025 is New Eternia Roboto! New Eternia Roboto was a surprise to see at SDCC 2024 as he was revealed in the Mattel Booth with other Masterverse figures at San Diego Comic Con 2024. And now we have him in hand and his is glorious! He comes with 3 different arm attachments. A large black laser cannon, a spinning mace and articulated arm clamp! You can attach these to either his right or left arms or both!

The arm attachments have very nice sculpted details and are articulated. Here you can see his arm clamp and spinning mace.

Overall views of Roboto from the front and back. You can see that his translucent body and the gears in his chest. You can make them spin with the teal colored wheel on his back.

Views of Roboto from his right and left sides.

Roboto comes with 2 different colored visors. A purple one and a red one that is more like the vintage. He has some digital pupil details in his eye area of his face which is a first for Roboto!

You can see he has a translucent head with a roboto brain like structure underneath. If you remove his visor, you can see that he has teeth sculpted onto his mouth area.

Close ups of his arms. His right arm has his classic robotic look in a blue color with conduits and robotic parts. His gloves are silver colored.

Close ups of his chest and back are below. You can see the colorful gears in his chest through his translucent body. The gear on his back the gears spin.

Close ups on his waist and legs. He has classic look with a purple colored waist and red legs with silver thigh accents. His boots are silver and vintage inspired as well. They all have a shinny silvery finish.

Hi-Res Art Reveal

Since Roboto New Eternia Masterverse figure was revealed at SDCC 2024 back in July, we’ve been waiting to see what his full package looks like and Roy Juarez revealed the hi res art work by @simoneckert.art for this incredible packaging. The New Eternia line is on fire so check Masterverse and the artwork just keeps getting more and more spectacular!

Roboto looks awesome as he has his axe, which is spinning, and his laser canon attachment! We can also get a glimpse of the Roton and a rock creature in the art! He looks great packed in the window display with his axe attachment beside him. Enjoy the 360 degree video below:

SDCC 2024 Mattel Booth Reveal

Roboto looked so cool on display at SDCC 2024 with his see through chest to reveal his gears and inner workings! Roboto comes with new versions of his blaster, claw, and axe and a new mouth plate and extra hand!

Here is a close up of the blaster, claw, and axe and a new mouth plate and extra hand!

You can really see the innser workings of this version of Roboto and dare I say he looks more like a robot? They really leaned into updating certain aspects of his design to give him a more robotic look like the rivets in his face mask and an additional metal piece above his waist.
