New MOTU Figure Drop Coming to Mattel Creations November 2026

Another Masters of the Universe figure drop is coming to Mattel Creations on November 12, 2026, at 9 AM PT, but as usual, Mattel isn’t giving collectors much to go on. We don’t know which character is coming or whether this release will be part of MOTU Origins or MOTU Chronicles. However, there’s one previously teased character worth considering: Eldor.

Huge thanks to @masterversal_toyhunter for the heads up!

Could Eldor Finally Be Coming to MOTU Origins?

Earlier this year, we reported that an apparent MOTU Origins Eldor figure was spotted on the back of the Snake Lair packaging. What made that discovery particularly interesting was that Eldor wasn’t simply represented in an illustration. The packaging featured what appeared to be an actual action figure. For collectors familiar with the original Powers of Grayskull concept, Eldor is one of those characters who never received a vintage release. His appearance on the Snake Lair packaging suggests Mattel has at least explored bringing him into MOTU Origins, although we still don’t know whether or when that figure might be released.

Could Eldor be the mystery November drop? It’s certainly possible, but there’s no evidence connecting him to this particular announcement.

The Eldor figure pictured on the Snake Lair packaging features a brown hooded robe with sculpted fur detailing, a gray beard, a gold belt, and a wooden staff. His gray muscular arms and legs are exposed beneath the robe, giving him a distinctive appearance that draws from the original Powers of Grayskull concept. The fact that Mattel pictured an actual figure rather than an illustration makes this tease particularly interesting, although there’s still no confirmation that Eldor is scheduled for release.

Of course, there’s also the possibility that this mystery release could be part of MOTU Chronicles rather than Origins. If that’s the case, we have no indication which character Mattel might be planning. With absolutely nothing beyond the Masters of the Universe logo in the teaser, either line is still a possibility.

Don’t Get Your Hopes Up for the Missing Vintage Figures

Before anyone starts hoping this mystery release will finally fill another gap in the vintage MOTU Origins lineup, remember that Mattel has already declared the lineup complete.

As we discussed in Mattel Claims MOTU Origins Line Is Complete But Falls Short, several vintage characters remain missing, including Rotar, Twistoid, Blade, Saurod, Gwildor, Tytus, and Megator. And let’s not forget the Meteorbs!

With Two-Bad and Laser Light Skeletor now crossed off the list, there are fewer characters left to complete the vintage lineup. But given Mattel’s position, I wouldn’t get my hopes up that this mystery release will address any of those omissions.

Eldor is a different case since he was never released as part of the original vintage line. His appearance as a physical figure on the Snake Lair packaging gives us something to speculate about, even if Mattel has yet to announce him.

Mattel Creations November 2026 Masters of the Universe Figure Drop

The Mattel Creations teaser features the Masters of the Universe logo against a green background with the words “Coming Soon” and “Member First Access 24 Hrs.” The U.S. drop is expected on November 12, 2026, at 9 AM PT.

As always, the teaser indicates a 24-hour early-access window for members, but it doesn’t identify the figure, price, or release date. We also don’t know whether the upcoming release will be exclusive to Mattel Creations or eventually become available through other retailers. For now, the mystery continues.
