Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Deluxe Official Images
Roboto’s reimagining as a female mechanical warrior for the 2026 Masters of the Universe movie was one of the more intriguing reveals to come out of the film’s toy line, and after we first spotted this figure surfacing and then got a closer look in our in-hand review, Mattel has now shared the official images for the Origins Deluxe Roboto, giving us the polished product shots that round out the full picture of what this release brings to the table. The decision to reimagine Roboto as a woman is a bold swing for the movie, and regardless of where anyone lands on that creative choice, the figure itself does a solid job translating it into the Origins format with a bulked-up deluxe build that sets her apart from the standard 5.5-inch figures while still keeping the classic Origins aesthetic intact. I love how the transparent chest panel showing off the robotic gears inside carries forward one of the most iconic design elements of the original vintage figure, because that was always the thing that made Roboto feel distinct on the shelf, and seeing it preserved here in a completely new character interpretation is a nice bridge between old and new. She comes loaded with 16 points of articulation, a shoulder cannon, a blaster, a collector card, and the removable swappable parts that Origins fans have come to expect for mix-and-match play. Priced at $26.97, this is a meaty deluxe offering and another sign that Mattel is going all in on the movie line across multiple price points and figure scales. It’ll be interesting to see how collectors respond to these official shots now that everything is out in the open.

Roboto’s blue and gray armor plating has a clean, segmented mechanical look, with ridged detailing on the forearms and layered knee guards that give her a heavy, industrial feel. The clear torso panel shows the internal gear sculpt inside her chest, and that visor with the cyan strip across the eyes is a great design choice for the movie reimagining.

The box art across the top of the packaging depicts Roboto in a cinematic Eternia setting, firing a shoulder cannon and blaster while surrounded by crumbling stone architecture and fiery skies. Inside the window, her shoulder cannon accessory is tucked behind her along with the blaster, and a collector card is partially visible at the back of the tray.

The back of the packaging features a large illustrated version of Roboto in a heavily armored, bulky mechanical design, set against a fiery Eternia landscape with Castle Grayskull looming in the distance. Two smaller inset photos at the bottom demonstrate the swappable parts functionality and the plug-in cannon attachment points.

Roboto’s head sculpt has a compact, rounded helmet with a red band wrapping around the lower face and a narrow cyan visor slit, flanked by two blocky shoulder-mounted missile pods with recessed circular ports. The claw accessory has a stubby, compact design with a squared-off end.

One mechanical claw hand has sculpted pincer fingers with individual segments, while the opposite arm sports the large forearm-mounted blaster with a boxy, angular build. The black waist block and segmented feet give Roboto a heavy-duty proportion that contrasts nicely with the smooth curves of her blue leg armor.

Her back reveals a large clear panel spanning the upper torso, with the internal gear mechanism fully exposed from behind and framed by the blue armor plating that wraps around each shoulder. A red accent sits on the back of one knee guard, matching the one on the front.
