ThunderCats are on the move, ThunderCats are loose! And so are the Berserkers, apparently, because a listing for a brand new ThunderCats Ultimates Hammerhand Cartoon First Appearance 7-inch scale action figure from Super7 has just popped up on Entertainment Earth! Huge thanks to toyhuntersholler on Instagram for the heads up! Now this is really cool because the original Ultimates Hammerhand release leaned much closer to the classic vintage LJN figure design, so it will be super exciting to see how Super7 has reimagined and redesigned this pirate brute to match his look from that very first cartoon appearance. There are no official photos just yet, but based on the description we can surmise this will be a toon edition Hammerhand, and I for one can’t be more excited to see what they do with him. The figure is priced at $65.00 with an estimated ship date of January 2027, so there’s plenty of time to get that preorder locked in over at our friends at Entertainment Earth. I always loved the Berserkers as villains on the show, and getting a cartoon-accurate Hammerhand to lead the crew on the shelf is going to be so much fun. Will we get a full toon edition Berserker lineup down the road? Only time will tell, but this is an amazing start. So let’s take a look at the ThunderCats Ultimates Hammerhand Cartoon First Appearance preorder!
Where to Buy

The Entertainment Earth listing does not yet have the official images of Hammerhand yet. But the listing itself confirms a January 2027 estimated arrival at $65.00, so there’s plenty of time for Super7 to reveal how they’ve translated that cartoon-first-appearance design into figure form.
Here’s a closer look at Hammerhand as he appeared in his first cartoon outing, and it’s easy to see why collectors are excited about this one. The white armored gauntlet, horned Viking-style helmet, and skull belt buckle are all signature details that set his cartoon design apart from the vintage LJN-inspired figure we’ve already seen from Super7.
According to Hammerhand | ThunderCats wiki | Fandom:
Captain Hammerhand first appeared in the episode The Terror of Hammerhand. He and his companions, the Berserkers, were trying to capture unicorns from the unicorn forest, luckily Snarf was there to step in and help and protected several unicorns but was then captured himself. Taken out to sea, Hammerhand was holding Snarf and a baby unicorn captive. Using the Sword of Omens’ “Sight Beyond Sight” ability, Lion-O saw Snarf was in trouble and went to rescue them. After a battle with the Thundercats, Hammerhand and his band of Berserkers were sunk by a whirlpool.
Mumm-Ra later raised Hammerhand from his watery grave so that he can occupy the cloned body of Panthro. Lion-O managed to defeat the imposter with help from the Sword of Omens’ powers. Hammerhand in Panthro’s body returned to Mumm-Ra and destroyed the cloning machine in anger. The clone body then shifts to Hammerhand’s body before disappearing.
Hammerhand later returned with a new bunch of pirates when Mumm-Ra hired them to capture Lynx-O, Pumyra, Bengali, and two Berbils who had crashed on an island following the destruction of Thundera.
