“Whisper my name and the Power will GROW!” Huge thanks to @thefullforcepodcast for posting these images because boy are we thrilled! Images of Super7’s upcoming Visionaries ReAction+ figures have leaked online and they look amazing! Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light is one of those deep cut 80s properties that so many of us have been hoping would get the modern collectible treatment, and it looks like Super7 is delivering. For those of us who grew up obsessing over the holographic magic of the original Hasbro line and the Sunbow cartoon, seeing these characters get the ReAction+ treatment is super exciting. The original toys with their lenticular chest plates were unlike anything else on the shelves back in 1987, and I always loved how the line blended medieval fantasy with science fiction in such a unique way. While nothing has been officially confirmed yet by Super7, the images making the rounds have the collector community buzzing. Will we see lenticular details on these figures? Will we get a full roster of Spectral Knights and Darkling Lords? Only time will tell, but the fact that Visionaries is getting any love at all in 2025 is incredible. We previously reported on early EE listings, which have been taken down for now, but we expect these to be going up for preorder very soon! The card art on both packages leans heavily into that classic Visionaries aesthetic, with a deep purple and blue palette and a menacing beast looming behind each character. Darkstorm’s card features a yellow border while Leoric’s runs with a cooler blue, and both showcase painted character illustrations that really capture the spirit of the original show.
Darkstorm’s packaging gives you a closer look at what’s included in the blister. His teal and dark green armor pairs with a gold twin-blade hand axe, a removable helmet, and a power backpack topped with ornate gold scroll-work framing a green holographic chest emblem.
The back of Darkstorm’s card is drenched in moody blues and greens, with character bio text describing his mystical personality as a Swamp Mollusk and his magical totem power of Decay. Two illustrated panels at the bottom spotlight both Leoric and Darkstorm in full armor, each clutching glowing totems, with a “Summon Them All!” tagline tying the line together.
Darkstorm comes with a solid spread of accessories laid out alongside the figure. The gold power staff is impressive, topped with that same green dragon holographic emblem framed by ornate scrollwork, and the teal backpack and canister attachment give you a few different display options for his gear.
