Mcfarlane is treading into new territory with a Sea Saucer & Bat Multicraft McFarlane Super Powers Crowdfund project! This is by their Collector’s Club Drawing Board, bringing fan and artist inspired ideas into production. Unlike other crowdfunds, there are no unlock tiers, and this is a very reasonably priced project with various options of what you would like to purchase. Now Im not sure why this is a crowdfund as yes we are getting 2 new vehicles but there are 4 repainted figures included. Entertainment Earth now has the Sea Saucer & Bat Multicraft in stock!

Bat Multicraft Official Images
The Bat Multicraft is a cool 2 seater jetplane in the classic Super Powers blue plastic with orange translucent canopy. I love the bat logo on the side of the plane.

Sea Saucer Official Images
The Sea Saucer, which is a Manta Ray inspired shaped ship is really cool and totally fits into the McFarlane Super Powers line, especially with it’s bright blue plastic color! The only thing that would make this perfection is if the lid was a translucent orange color rather than the opaque blue plastic. But I get it, it’s supposed to be like a submarine type vehicle, so makes sense.

August 23, 2024: Crowdfund Details
McFarlane is no stranger to doing newly tooled Super Powers vehicles, so we are not sure why they choose this to be a crowdfund. Now McFarlane if you are reading this, a much more interesting and exciting Crowdfund would have been a Hall of Justice Playset or a Legion of Doom Playset. But who knows those might be in the works already? In any case, let’s take a look at the this first for McFarlane Toys, the Collector’s Club Sea Saucer & Bat Multicraft McFarlane Super Powers Crowdfund project. Crowdfund will run from Jul 17, 2024 12:00 PM PDT and ends on Aug 7, 2024 11:45 PM PDT. UPDATE, NOW EXTENDED TO AUGUST 30th at 12:00pm PST.
UPDATE 08/23/2024: Funded and Prototype Images
With only a few days left in the campaign, the Sea Saucer & Bat Multicraft Super Powers crowdfund has FUNDED! Special thanks to Cullen Guzik for the heads up, Mcfarlane also sent some prototype images via email to update the crowfund. Black Manta Sea Saucer
The first choice in the Crowdfund is the Black Manta Sea Saucer priced at $20. This includes just this one 4.5″ scaled vehicle. It has the look of a Manta Ray and a space for a figure to sit and pilot the ship.
Black Manta Sea Saucer + Aquaman & Black Manta Figures
The second choice in the Crowdfund is the Black Manta Sea Saucer + Aquaman & Black Manta Figures priced at $35. This includes the Black Manta Sea Saucer 4.5″ scaled vehicle and Aquaman and Black Manta in recolored deco. Aquaman get’s his black shorts this time. And Black Manta has a slightly new color scheme with blacks, purples and blues.
Bat Multicraft
The third choice in the Crowdfund is the Bat Multicraft vehicle priced at $30. This includes the Bat Multicraft 4.5″ scaled plane. It has that reminiscent blue plastic color and translucent orange canopy like Batman themed Super Powers vehicles in the past. It looks like it can sit 2 figures, so you can comfortably sit Batman and Robin inside.

The fourth choice in the Crowdfund is the Bat Multicraft vehicle plus the Batman and Robin action figures priced at $45. Again these are simple repaints of Batman and Robin, but at least Robin now included the duel black and yellow cape. Batman also has an upgraded blue and black cape as well.
