2025 Playmates TMNT Remastered and Classics Figure Leaks

Hot off the heals of the Sewer Lair and Mutant Module Playmates TMNT Classics Preorder & Official Images new, these new images the upcoming Remastered Rocksteady, Shredder and a Last Ronin style Ralphel have surfaced. Not only are we getting new Remastered figures, but a new wave of TMNT Classics Mutant Military wave is coming as well! Big thanks to msmithtmnt on Instagram for posting these images. At the Playmates panel during SDCC2024, they announced that we were going to be getting remastered versions of Rocksteady and Shredder coming in 2025. And by the looks of these images, it seems that they are supposed to be released around April 2025. These new Remastered Shredder and Rocksteady figures are continuing the new line like the we get with the Classic Remastered Turtles that were released last year. They are supposed to have a more modern articulation, similar to that of MOTU Origins, but not quite there. Taking a look at Shredder and Rocksteady below, you can see that they haven’t corrected the ankle joints and they still only have a swivel cut.
Next a Last Ronin version of Remastered version of Raphael has also been revealed, which is a little strange as he was the only figure in the Last Ronin motif that was revealed. Gone is the strange skin texture of the first 4 Remastered turtles release, so it makes you think, are they going to redo those? He has some nice detailing with the chest armor and the knee pads. He also comes packed with several nice accessories with some nice paint apps.
Finally a wave of TMNT Classic Line figures of the military wave. This wave includes Lieutenant-Leo, Raph Green Teen Beret, Delta Team Don, Navy Seal Mike.
These figures were originally released in 1991 and 1992 as part of the later waves of TMNT figures. You can see the cardbacks were unique to these figures in their “Mutant Military” line.
Images of the Delta Team Don, and Navy Seal Mike that were released in 1992 are below. Hopefully they recreate these cool card backs!

Remastered Shredder & Rocksteady
Building off the success of the 4 TMNT Bros in the Remastered line with new articulation, Playmates brings us some baddies with remastered versions of Shredder and Rocksteady! We can’t wait to get more information as these figures get futher developed.
