Skeltek Skeletor
As seen at this year’s SDCC 2023.
During the climatic battle between He-Man and Skeletor, He-Man proclaimed “It’s not about us” which is a huge hint that things are changing accord to the lore, which is what the Revelation Series is all about! Despite Kevin Smith saying that the series was a continuation of the Filmation cartoon from the 80’s, the Revelation Series proves that it is rewriting MOTU lore and people aren’t going to continually stay in the same positions they’ve been in. They get with the times, people! WE know that Evil-Lyn’s fate is up in the air, Teela became the Sorceress but a new kind of Sorceress that can leave Grayskull willy nilly, Andra becomes the new Man-At-Arms, and Skeletor is left in a world he doesn’t quite understand. Angry that he didn’t help to defeat He-Man, Skeletor seeks out the only people he can rely on. He busts into the Motherboard cult and tries to usurp power from Tri-Klops and Trap Jaw, but this leads to Skeletor angrily attacks the Motherboard statue, attempting to blow it to pieces as Tri-Klops and Trap Jaw refuse to align with him.

Here is what Skeletek looked like in Mattel’s booth. Skeletek was on the leaked list of Masters of the Universe Masterverse Wave 11 figures and he looks amazing! He has oversized shoulder armor, a Rams’ head gauntlet, and he looks like he’s a mishmash of his former self and the Horde!

Masterverse Wave 11 Preorder
The following figures showed up on the Collectors Bay for preorder so purchase at your own risk but from what we’ve seen from MOTU leaks, they are usually spot on with the occasional assortment changes. The Masterverse Wave 11 assortment is rumored to have Sorceress Teela, Skeletek, New Eternia Man-At-Arms, and New Eternia Trap Jaw:
Masterverse Wave 11 Leak
According to For Eternia.com the Masterverse Wave 11 assortment will contain two New Eternia figures and two figures from the new MOTU Revolution subline! This info is sourced from a person that works in the toy industry and we trust For Eternia but we are treating this is rumor until it is confirmed. Scheduled to be released in February of 2024, the figures rumored to be in Wave 11 are:
- Sorceress Teela
- Skeletek
- New Eternia Man-At-Arms
- New Eternia Trap Jaw
Sorceress Teela
Masters of the Universe: Revelation subtly sets up a plot thread from the original Masters of the Universe animated series that was never fully developed; that the warrior woman Teela had a great destiny before her and was fated to become the next Sorceress of Castle Grayskull. Teela’s arc in Masters of the Universe: Revelation transformed and empowered her as she became the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull. Given we just had a release of Dark Evil-Lynn, this figure was assumed to be coming down the line and now we know when!

Skeletech
He busts into the Motherboard cult and tries to usurp power from Tri-Klops and Trap Jaw, but this leads to Skeletor angrily attacks the Motherboard statue, attempting to blow it to pieces as Tri-Klops and Trap Jaw refuse to align with him

As Skeletor tries to attack the Motherboard statue, it begins to glow and open to reveal a mechanical creature that has a feminine appearance. Tri-Klops and Trap Jaw hold Skeletor as Motherboard infects him with a virus.

Going along with how normal beings turn into part machine, this act will turn Skeletor into a cyborg but the Motherboard juice directly injected injected right into him so we are unsure what will happen next.

New Eternia Trap Jaw
As we’ve already seen a Masters of the Universe Revelation Deluxe Trap Jaw, it is amazing to see what a New Eternia version would look like! As the Revelation version looked exactly like the animated series, we feel like a New Eternia version would bring him back to his roots. Here is an early concept of Trap Jaw from 1982, who was first called X-Man!

New Eternia Man-At-Arms
The role of a Man-at-Arms in the government of Eternia was to advise the ruling planetary monarch and the Royal Guard on military and police affairs. Another figure that was delayed and produced in the MOTU Origins Power Con 2020 exclusive Lords of Power set. As seen in Mark Talor’s B-Sheet design, the name for the figure was dubbed “Arms Man.” The concept for his armor added an element of fur or bristles and had hoses and wires coming from it. Interestingly, like Skeletor’s original concept for his Havoc Staff, his mace weapon was originally supposed to function as a ball and chain, detaching from the handle to be swung about on a string. In the Mondo Sixth scale version of Man-At-Arms, they paid homage to this concept (among others)!

According to the Battle Ram Blog, “Mark has reveled an early version of the character in his “Sketches 1” set of prints that he made available at Power-Con 2018. This character, called Paladin, has the familiar green and orange color scheme, and familiar helmet and face armor (albeit much more concealing in this version). His costume is much more primitive-looking than the more familiar Man-At-Arms design. The ventilator that was later moved to his chest area is up near his face here. He has a spiked orange mace at his side, but also carries a futuristic rifle. According to Dušan M, this was apparently the design used in the aforementioned Rob-N toyline, although it originally had a different color scheme.”
